Throughout the years, I've tried time and time again to keep a blog going, but nothing has ever really stuck. This year, I intend to change that.
For several years now, I've been quite a fan of static site generators, especially for building personal sites or docs for projects, mostly having used Jekyll, Pelican, and the simply wonderful Hugo, but for the time being, I thought I'd try out a new (to me) tool called Zola. I don't know 100% if I will keep this running with Zola, but that's a beautiful thing with static site genetors; I own my content and for the most part, it is very portable given that it is mostly pure markdown.
Within this blog, I intend to share my random thoughts and ideas, talk about what I'm learning and maybe what I'm working on. I'll probably get a lot of things wrong, but I strongly believe that learning and building in public helps keep myself accountable and can provide for insights from others. That's right, I'm going to start building some more of my personal projects in public.
Well, that's enough from me for now. We'll see how this shapes up over time.
